Denver Therapeutic Relief was initially created with the modern man in mind and has evolved to help everyone who is navigating stress, emotional isolation, burnout, identity questions, intimacy challenges, or the pressure of always needing to appear emotionally composed. Sessions are designed to feel grounded, discreet, emotionally intelligent, and free from performance. The environment is calm, private, and intentionally restorative. Every interaction centers on presence, communication, respect, nervous-system regulation, and supportive human connection.

I’m Amella Woodbanks, the practitioner behind Denver Therapeutic Relief. I’m a trans feme non-op practitioner with hundreds of hours of course study on the human body. I was born on the Mediterranean coast and my practice has taken me around the world, including Thailand, Greece, Dubai and Germany. My work is grounded in the simple, human practice of being met — fully, without performance — in a space designed to feel calm, professional, and emotionally safe. More so, my work is to be felt.

Sessions are shaped by therapeutic presence, mindful touch, breath awareness, and trauma-aware communication. Every guest is welcome here, LGBTQ+ and gender- expansive clients seeking affirming, embodied support.
